Aur Bold
Tribute #319967
- Chestnut Stallion, Foaled May
19, 1982
-
- We acquired Aur Bold Tribute
when he was 15 years old. He was broke to ride, but had spent
his past 8 years pretty much living in a box stall and breeding
partbred mares to produce pinto Half-Arabs. (Several of his pinto
Half-Arab get have been very successful show horses.) When he
came to our house, he went back to work, starting an endurance
career in his mid-teens. He has completed 825 AERC miles to date,
earning several Top Tens and two BC awards. At age 18, he made
his one trip to the show ring, tying for high score Sport Horse
In Hand stallion, and earning the Reserve Championship Stallion
SHIH, in a strong class of much younger dressage horses and prospects.
"Bo" is Paul's favorite saddle horse; Paul particularly
enjoys him for his quickness, cleverness, and surefootedness.
He has been an outstanding sire as well.
-
- "Bo" comes from a
strong endurance family. His sire Aurlani Farwa has produced
several top-notch endurance horses, among them Tevis winner and
PNER Champion BRR Aurber Lights; he is also a maternal half-brother
to AERC Hall of Famer RT Muffin. "Bo's" dam was bred
by the Lanigan Ranch--also noted for outstanding endurance horses
in their time.
