- Ben is a very special part
of our herd. He was raised as an orphan after being delivered
by a hasty Caesarian section as his dam was dying of a twisted
intestine. He is by our own Abu Ben Surrabu, who was the 1995
PNER Mileage Champion. His dam Amiri Trkeeta (by Las Trad, sire
and grandsire of many top endurance horses) was an outstanding
endurance horse herself for her owners Bob and Arlene Morris.
Ben is an outstanding young stallion--very correct, athletic,
and typey. He is started under saddle, and we hope to get him
out on the endurance trails at some point in the near future.
