Health is a state of wholeness based on the body's ability to
maintain equilibrium between internal and external forces. Healing
is the body's innate ability to restore this equilibrium and
wholeness.
I. Free Radicals and their role in our health.
We witness the free radicals work as they make metal rust, fat
and oil go rancid and in the browning oxidation of a sliced apple,
where we also see the antioxidant, vitamin-C (lemon juice), blocking
the process. Our diets have now become increasingly deficient
in antioxidants and we are exposed to more free radicals found
in the pollution from smoke, radiation, exhaust, alcohol, pesticides
and preservatives. In humans this excess exposure, overwhelms
our defenses, promote aging and are the primary cause of degenerative
diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, liver or kidney
dysfunction, blindness, allergy and diabetes among others. Free
Radicals are created when food is converted to energy (body heat)
and during other biochemical processes in the body.
A. Radical is the biochemical name of a molecule with an unpaired
electron. Free refers to misfits with no proper place. Positive
Free Radicals indiscriminately strip electrons from other molecules
with disastrous results -crippled enzymes, punctured cell membranes
(lipids in mitochondrial membranes), damage to collagen and other
connective tissues, disruption of important physiological processes,
and broken chromosomes creating mutations in the DNA. Free radicals
have been implicated in more than sixty diseases, including heart
disease, hardening of the arteries, arthritis, Alzheimer's disease,
cataracts and cancer. It has been shown that certain genetic
mutations predispose to cancer and the cumulative damage wreaked
by Free Radicals is largely responsible for the aging process.
B. Free Radicals are a toxic waste (oxidation) from energy-making
organelles (mitochondria) in the cells, with older mitochondria
producing more. It has been estimated that up to 2% (maybe less
in healthy tissue) of the oxygen used in mitochondrial respiration
could end up as superoxide radicals that will spur the making
of more dangerous radicals, as the combination (slowed by ionization)
of superoxide and hydrogen peroxide yielding a much more reactive
oxidizing agent - the hydroxyl radical.
Radiation is another source of radicals, like the Hydroxide(OH)
known to be the most potent in attacking various biomolecules
including DNA.
C. Each cell is comprised of organelles such as mitochondria
and lysosomes bound by membranes holding their enzymes. Each
organelle performs a metabolic function for the cell such as
digestion, waste removal, fluid transportation and other items.
When free radicals steal electrons from the organelles' intracellular
membranes, they create destruction and loss of organization of
cellular enzymes. There is a disturbance in the nutrient distribution
system for the cell and cellular metabolism is hampered. Eventually
the cell dies. When enough cells die, signs and symptoms of degenerative
disease becomes obvious. This destructive process is known as
"lipid peroxidation".
The mitochondrion membrane is quite susceptible to oxidative
attack due to high polyunsaturated lipid content. It contains
ion pumps, antigens, neurohumeral receptors, intercellular junctions,
immunoglobulins and other items.
The lysosomal membrane damage would cause leak of digestive enzymes
ruining the cell. This is thought to be part of the natural aging
process.
D. Vascular endothelium (cells lining blood vessels) controls
vascular tone by releasing the free radical NO (nitric oxide).
An experiment has shown superoxide to decrease and superoxide
dismutase to enhance it's biological activity.
Ionized ( polarized
) blood-cells will float free ( not clump ) and thus be better
oxygen carriers, this is helping fight anarobic diseases, helping
healing and vitalizing the brain.
II. Natural substances
working in harmony with Nature to aid and stimulate the body
to truly cure itself without drug side-effects. The body is predisposed
to heal itself, given the chance.
The natural protective systems, consists of self-chelation catalyzed
by oral chelating agents, the Antioxidants and free radical scavengers
(molecules neutralizing free radicals).
A. Oral chelating agents that maintain intracellular membrane
integrity are (in descending order of importance) vitamin-E,
selenium, magnesium, chromium, potassium, vitamin-C, any edible
weak organic acid such as lactic acid, acetic acid, ascorbic
acid and citric acid; lecithin; fiber; L-cysteine; N-dimethyl-glycine;
spirulina; bee pollen; bioflavonoids (viamin-P) including rutin;
all B-complex vitamins; minerals as iodine, iron, germanium and
silicon; enzymes as bromelain and papain; omega-3 fatty acids;
methionine, glutathione peroxidase and many others.
B. Antioxidants, either through phytonutrients ( compounds found
in plants ), amino acids, flavonoids in Bilberry, GinkoBiloba,
Grapeseed or pycnogenol (pinebark) or supplements such as vitamin-E,
-C and -A, Thioctic (Alpha-lipoic) acid, glutathione (a thiol,
GSH), beta-carotene and minerals as selenium, magnesium, manganese,
zinc, and copper, can donate either an electron or a hydrogen
atom to cellular molecules. They can thus stabilize and neutralize
the free radical damage to all cellular constituents, including
DNA, proteins and lipids (membranes), inhibiting lipid peroxidation.
Vitamin-E can, after donating it's hydrogen atom, be restored
by reaction with vitamin-C. Repair by glutathione in presence
of oxygen will produce superoxide radicals providing some cellular
oxidative stress, this may be the cell's choice of the lesser
of two evils in many circumstances.
C. Free radical scavengers could be negative electrically charged
molecules (an-ions
as produced by our An-Ion-Machine.

Arthritis pain relief and all else You may need.).
When two different materials rub against each other, static electricity
is generated. An electron is moved from one (leaving a positive
charge) to the other (making a negative charge). Different polarities
will attract, as when synthetic fabric cling to your body.
In nature, half of the ions are formed by radioactivity, cosmic
rays, ultraviolet rays, airflow friction, falling water and half
are produced by plants where they stream off the leaves, most
notably pine and asparagus ferns. Excessive positive ions are
found in hot desert winds and before thunderstorms. Excessive
negative ions are found in mountains, near oceans and waterfalls
(shower) and after thunderstorms.
It is reported that positive ions create depressed moods (blood
serotonin increase) while negative ions provide euphoria. As
an-ions travel freely through your body on the path of highest
conductivity, they will enter and leave your body through the
acupuncture points, maybe stimulating them on their way. A theory
is that an-ions increase the alkalinity in the body as water
splits in H+ ions neutralized by an-ions and OH- ions that will
ionize alkaline minerals. The surplus ions will leave your body,
if they accumulate you will get an electric shock when they leave
in a bunch, as experienced when touching a doorknob especially
in an air duct heated room. (Air conditioning may produce a positive
ion stream.) Ions and free radicals can not be stored in your
body without altering the electrical potential, but before they
leave they can change the body chemistry.
The high winds in the upper atmosphere and the earth's magnetic
field generate very high voltage, so standing at sea level you
would experience a voltage gradient of about 400V per meter,
and in the mountains maybe up to 2000V per meter, when the gradient
reaches 1000V per millimeter the air gets ionized and becomes
a conductor. Lightening and the spark from an electric fence
are examples of this.
This voltage will let an-ions travel through the body (higher
conductivity) from feet to head. This and the alkaline spring
water is claimed to be why people in mountains live longer and
healthier. Inside an urban dwelling (or a car) the voltage gradient
will be zero (Faradays cage), just as steel beam constructions
will weaken the magnetic field inside them. Ionizers are generally
used to bring the natural outside atmosphere into your home.

III. Nutritional hints.
Easy simple rule: Try
to make a meal balanced with 50-60% beeing Vegetables, 25% Rice,
Pasta or Potatoes and 15-25% Meat. (1/2-!/4-1/4)
A.Balanced daily food consumption, high on soluble fiber:
25% Whole cereal grain: Includes brown rice, millet, oats, rye,
corn, barley and buckwheat.
30% Fresh vegetables: Includes green cabbage, kale, collard and
mustard greens, Swiss chard, watercress, bok choy, dandelion,
burdock root, carrots, radishes, turnips, onions, acorn squash,
butternut squash, cauliflower, zucchini, broccoli, beets, celery,
mushrooms, eggplant, potatoes, asparagus, spinach, sweet potatoes,
yams, green and red peppers, tomatoes and others.
10% Cooked beans and sea vegetables: Includes garbanzo, lima,
pinto, black, lentils, red, kidney and the soyabean products
as tofu, azuki, tempeh and natto. Mineral-rich sea vegetables
might be dulce, Irish moss, alaria, hijiki, kombu, wakame and
nori.
20% Fresh fruit: Includes Oranges, Grapefruits and Apples. Never
add suger or salt, it will ruin the value. Darker fruits show
higher antioxidants (blueberries).
15% Animal protein: Fish and poultry are preferred over red meat.
Includes Milk products.
Balanced total daily calorie intake:
60% from complex carbohydrates low in glycemic index like: GreenVegetables,
Beans, Peas, Apples, Berries, Citrus, 100%BranCereal, Oatmeal
and SproutedGrainBread, or to some extend medium index like:
BrownRice, NewPotatoes, SweetPotatoes, Stone-groundWholeWheetBread,
RyeCrackers, Kiwi and Grapes. Hold off on high index like: WhiteBread,
Bagels, RiceCakes, WhiteRice, most cold Cereals, WhitePotatoes,
Dates, Pineapple, ripe Banana. Quality of carbohydrates is rated
by their glycemic index, found from their ability to elevate
the blood glucose.
20% Healthy fat: Monounsaturated Olive Oil (The only one to stand
heat) and unprocessed polyunsaturated fats, being EFA's ( They
do not stand heat ), half as Omega-3 from Salmon, Mackerel, Herring,
Sardines, FlaxSeed, and half as Omega-6 from VegetableOils, Nuts
and Seeds (not roasted). Keep off TransFattyAcids in margarine,
hydrogenatedOils, PeanutButter, Baked goods and fried food.
20% Protein, max. 20-55g. pr. Day (0.6gr. pr. Kg bodyweight).
Excess is stressing the kidneys and giving acid blood to promote
loss of calcium from the bones.
Minimum 30gr. of fiber pr. Day: Soluble in: Beans, Oats, and
Fruits. Insoluble is the "Roughage" in: Vegetables,
the skin of fruits and legumes and the coating of grains.
Cut white and brown sugars, use honey or better BrownRiceSyrup
(the only slowly metabolized syrup, low glycemic index). ..............For
sweeteners only use Stevia or Xylitol. Fructose is a highly reactive
molecule damaging proteins (seen used in soft drinks).
Use whole grain flours (unbleached).
Eat baked potatoes including the skin, never French fries, and
not to much.
Minimize salt intake, use sea salt or lite salt (Cardia or PotassiumChloride).
Use butter, olive oil and flax seed oil, not margarine (saturated
fatty acids).
Avoid hydrogenated fats of any type. (In store-bought cakes,
pies, cookies, doughnuts, pizza and pretzels.
Cut white flour macaroni, spaghetti and noodles.
Minimize caffeine products as tea, coffee, chocolate and cola,
use herb teas.
Prefer raw milk, eat natural yoghurt not fruit-flavored, natural
aged cheese not processed.
4-6 eggs per week is permitted, not scrambled unless in a microwave
oven.
Never eat processed meat containing nitrites, like sausage, salami
and luncheon-types.
Never fry meat and remove the skin.
Nuts and seeds are a good protein source. Never eat salted nuts
and seeds and not roasted, no macadamia or peanuts. ................Use
natural nut butters without sugar or hydrogenation (needs refrigerated
after opening.)
Eat a wide variety
raw or steamed vegetables (do not overcook), select romaine for
lettuce (dark green).
Eat juicy fruits
in the morning to cleanse the body, try Oatmeal for Brunch (Rolled
oats with plain Yoghurt and milk.) and never a heavy meal late
in the Day.
Minimum 6-8 glasses of pure spring water a day (alkaline), the
major part in the morning , to cleanse the body, ................................and
never with the meals, to ensure proper digestion (no dilution),
+/-1½hr. from meals. Verify your body hydration by the
color tone of the urine.. go for light color. Theese last two
are exelent aides to prevent arthritic problems.
B. High amounts of vitamin B will bind defective enzymes. A number
of genetic diseases might be remedied with high doses of vitamins,
minerals and amino acids.
Magnesium deficiency is associated with hearth disease and retinopathy
(blindness).
Acetyl-L-carnitine (alcar) is a nutrient aiding in fatty-acid
fuel crossing the lipid membranes into mitochondria. (500mg twice
daily). Combined with the Sulfur containing Alpha-lipoic acid
being a powerful mitochondrial antioxidant being both water and
fat soluble, allowing it to neutralize free radicals in all areas
of the cells (200mg twice daily).
Suggested daily intake of Vitamin and Mineral supplements as
insurance against the potential inadequacies of the diet: Vitamin-A
5000IU, -D 400IU, -E 800IU, -C 2000mg, Beta-carotene 15000IU,
Folic acid 400ug, Thiamine(B1) 50mg, Riboflavin(B2) 50mg, Niacin
amide(B3) 100mg, Pyridoxine(B6) 75mg, Cyanocobalamin(B12) 100ug,
Pantothenic acid(B5) 50mg, Biotin 16mg, Calcium 1g, Iodine 150ug,
Magnesium 1g, Zinc 30mg, Copper 2mg, Potassium 99mg, Manganese
10mg, Chromium (Picolinate or Polynicotinate) 400ug, Selenium
200ug, Molybdenum 125ug, Silica 25mg, Bioflavonoids 100mg, Inositol
40mg, Lipoic acid >200mg, EPA Omega-3 2000mg.
C. Auto immune response (that destroys beta cells), causing allergi,
diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and multible scleroses, can be
triggered by nitrates, stress, myotoxin, free radical damage
and a specific protein in cows milk (this suggests keeping cows
milk from children under 3 month of age). Vitamin B3 is a protecting
factor.
Linolenic and linoleic acids are essential unsaturated fatty
acids affecting the membranes in cells to permit a thousand-fold
increase in oxygen transport and assimilation. (Found in cold
pressed unprocessed flax-seed oil). Combined with Low fat Cottage
Cheese providing sulfur-rich protein and calcium, all elements
for membrane repair and energy transfer are in place. (Combined
with a strict health-promoting diet this is Dr. Budwig's cancer
cure). We have several examples of cancer cysts being absorbed
by the body. Cancer cells cannot survive in an oxygen-rich environment.
Conclusion:
A. The enemy is the positive free radicals, nature put in our
metabolism and our environment. The defense is antioxidants and
negative ions.
B. Mood no longer a victim of hidden nutritional imbalances and
deficiencies. More energy. Better memory. Better stress handling.
Fewer sick-days, faster recovery. Better athletic skills.
C. If your body machinery runs stronger it will run longer. You
are what you eat.
